What Google is doing about this space will be seen soon after the company, and the US space agency, NASA, held a news conference on new findings on the observation of the Kepler Space Telescope. This press conference was held on Thursday, December 14, 2017.
Kepler has indeed found hundreds of planets outside our solar system, but this announcement seems to be quite unique because Google participated in the event by utilizing their artificial intelligence software.
"The findings were made by researchers using Machine Learning from Google," NASA explained at the announcement.
Machine learning itself is an approach using artificial intelligence or artificial intelligence (AI) to analyze data that Kepler collects.
So far it has not been explained exactly what will Google and NASA announce at the conference tomorrow. But if this announcement concerns Kepler's findings, it is likely there will be a new planet that has been found.
And if Google is involved, it is likely that the planet's new discovery method is aided by AI or even possibly AI Google is able to help detect signs of alien life outside our solar system.
