Magic Leap Augmented Reality is Magic glasses

Soon after prototype photos allegedly Mixed Reality device made by Magic Leap circulating on the internet, the CEO Rony Abovits immediately open the voice. He said the prototype in the photo is not a prototype of the Mixed Reality device that will be marketed.

Reporting from Mashable on Twitter, Abovits explained the device is a component of their R & D (Research and Development) assets to collect 'data' from the room for their machine vision.

"The purpose of taking data from the room is to understand the lighting, texture, and the various surfaces," Abovits said.

Previously, the prototype image was revealed by Business Insider from an unnamed source. This prototype has a form like a backpack with a number of panels and components.

The Magic Leap is already rumored to work on a prototype Mixed Reality device with the code name "PEQo". The main purpose of Magic Leap is actually moving in the development of Mixed Reality technology.

Mixed Reality can be spelled out slightly differently from Virtual Reality or Augmented Reality that started to become a trend over the last year. As is known, Virtual Reality allows someone to go to another place by displaying the atmosphere of the place through the headset.

While Augmented Reality able to display images in the real world through mapping the conditions around it. However, Mixed Reality makes its users see an animated object that seems to be in the real world. As a result, this technology allows digital objects to interact with real environments including objects in them.

For example, when a user uses a Mixed Reality device, he not only can see digital objects displayed in the real world, but moreover, they can relate to real-world objects, such as chairs or lamps.

Another thing that became the advantages of this technology is the lack of limits of devices that can be used. This technology is designed to be linked with real and virtual objects.
