The Gmail Go app is present for Android users who have trouble checking emails due to limitations on their devices. Gmail Go size itself is flexible, tailoring to different devices. What is clear, the "Go" version of Google applications is usually less than 1GB.

"The Gmail you love, is now lighter and stays just as fast," reads the app's description on the Google Play Store.

According to Google, this light version of Gmail comes lighter and faster when accessed. Gmail Go also has the ability like regular Gmail, which is when categorizing incoming email, whether it's social, promotions, and more.
